"Creative commons licensing" definition

Public licenses which indicate what consumers can and cannot do with a visual work. There are six licenses: CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-NC, CC BY-ND, CC BY-NC-SA and CC BY-NC-ND. CC BY is the most common, allowing users to generate derivative content provided that the original authors are accredited.
